After D&K’s fantastic Live in Vienna CD, showcasing their 22-piece orchestra performing their music, the dynamic duo continue to demonstrate their prolific understanding of jazz with this remix project. Similar to the Verve Remixed series, this release has dZihan & Kamien remixing and performing established works by Billie Holiday, Nitin Sawhney, Tosca, Bernhard Lang and Bob Holroyd on disc one. Disc two has The Brut Imperial Quintet doing superb live improvisational interpretations of D&K’s music, including songs like “After”, “Basmati”, “Smile” and “Just You and I”.
