So what do you do when you can’t get to the best music festival on this side of the earth? Goldenvoice has released a DVD (complete with a 30-page photo album) highlighting some of the more memorable moments in the festival’s seven-year existence, from concert footage to backstage shenanigans. The only letdown with this release is that there isn’t more of it, as disc one contains interviews, appearances and performances by The Arcade Fire, Bloc Party, Paul Oakenfold, The Chemical Brothers, Fishcerspooner, The Flaming Lips, Iggy & The Stooges, Oasis, This Pixies, Radiohead, Spearhead and The White Stripes. Disc two is a little weak and somewhat of a lost opportunity, as there’s really only a handful of bonus interviews. They should have capitalized on showing more concert footage and outtakes and behind the scenes material, but it’s still definitely worth picking up. -AZ
