From its remarkably understated, glass, street façade to an interior décor highlighted by a huge, mesmerizing chandelier made entirely of stemware, Pullman proves immediately that it is not your average wine bar. A relatively new addition to Montreal’s galaxy of tapas haunts, Pullman presents an inspired menu of themed victuals (be sure to try the “Inverse Poutine” — très drôle) specifically created to complement an impressive and meticulously selected wine list. All wait staff are trained sommeliers and are happy to suggest unique, palate-pleasing food and wine combinations. Wedged between the downtown core and the Plateau, Pullman may stand alone in its setting but certainly stands out as one of Montreal’s hidden treasures.
